This is a cosy, traditional "nordlandshus", only 80 meters from the sea. Includes the use of a wood-fired hot tube and the possibility of mooring a boat close to the house. The stamp must be prepared by the guest himself. The house is over 100 years old, and is located in a sunny area, in scenic surroundings, and a short way up to the mountain. This is a great starting point for hiking, Sup, fishing, bike tours, etc. Bathroom is small, just so you are warned :) This is a cozy, traditional 'Nordlandshus' situated just 80 meters from the sea. It includes access to a wood-fired hot tub, and there's an opportunity to moor a boat below the house. Guests must prepare the hot tub themselves. The house is over 100 years old, located in a sunny area, surrounded by picturesque scenery, and is close to the mountains. It's a perfect place for families with children! This serves as an excellent base for activities like hiking, stand-up paddleboard (sup), fishing, cycling, and more. The house is 11 km from Leknes town center (a 10-minute drive), which is situated in the heart of Lofoten. In Leknes, you can find an airport, shops, restaurants, and most of the things you might need. It's also approximately 8 km from Stamsund, another town with shops, pubs, and restaurants. From Stamsund, you can take the 'Hurtigruten' to destinations like Bodø or Svolvær.

The house has been recently renovated on the exterior and partly on the interior. Please note that the ceilings are quite low in several rooms. Most people find this adds to the cozy and intimate atmosphere of the house, but it's important to be aware that taller individuals may need to stoop to pass through the doorways. The hallway and bathroom, in particular, have lower ceiling heights. Feel free to get in touch for more information. The bathroom is quite small, but the shower is spacious.

While there are beds and mattresses for 8-9 people, the house is better suited for up to 5-6 people considering its size, especially in terms of the kitchen and bathroom. However, this depends on the level of comfort you desire during your stay.

A Zaptec electric vehicle charger has recently been installed, which guests are welcome to use. This charger should be compatible with all electric cars Wood fired hot tub is set up at the terrace, so this can be used by guests by arrangement. The guests have follow the guidelines given in the Travel Document you will receive. At the time I charge no extra for using the hot tub, but that also means that the hot tub will not be checked and cleaned between the guests. It is expected that the guests cleans the tub after it is used. Will initially not be close but available on the phone when needed. It is recommended to have your own car, but buses also pass by, but not so often.
