Welcome to an experience out of the ordinary. The Vicarage in Flakstad is part of ARKT Lofoten – a completely unique concept for guests who are looking for more than just accommodation. Here it is all about feeling the history, the silence and the closeness to nature.

The place

The Vicarage was built in 1930 as the residence for the parish priest at Flakstad Church. The house has now been beautifully restored and provides a very special atmosphere where the past meets modern comfort.

The main house has 7 spacious bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, several living rooms and a large dining room with space for 16 guests. The unique AGA kitchen is made for long meals and good conversations. In the garden you will find a private sauna that invites you to relax after a day out in the elements.

The property also has its own guesthouse with space for 4 people. In total, the Vicarage can accommodate 18 guests – ideal for large families, groups of friends or companies that want to gather in a place completely out of the ordinary.

As a guest, you have the entire property to yourself:
The rectory with 7 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen

The separate guesthouse with space for 4 people

Private garden sauna (6-8 people).

In addition, there is a private climbing wall and mattresses for playing.

Large outdoor areas with views of the mountains, sea and Flakstad Church

Other things to note

The location is rural and peaceful, only 3 km from Ramberg. Within walking distance you have beautiful Flakstad Beach, ideal for surfing, the midnight sun and the beautiful northern lights.

The rectory is located right next to the beautiful Flakstad Church - a historical landmark that has stood here since the 15th century.
